Background: Lowry got his start as a fitness buff who also maintained a high standard of academic excellence. He paid for college through a side career as a fitness model, attempting to earn a bachelor's degree in philosophy. However, a run-of-the-mill love life tragedy of the sort encountered by almost anyone seems to have wrought some sort of psychological meltdown for Lowry. Midway through his third year, he quit both his job and his degree to turn up at a wrestling academy in California. The persona he revealed to the bookers of the academy was one narrowly removed from 'unhinged', but also imbued with enough remnants of his former academic, philosophical nature to develop a dangerous superiority complex and a compulsive need to enforce his 'greater wisdom' on everyone. Lowry's adopted ring name, Erudio, is Latin for "to teach".
